Automotive Accounting - Title/Deal Specialist

With 10 busy dealerships and 2 body shops, the Executive Auto Group has provided superior customer service to Hartford, Berlin, Wallingford, North Haven, Guilford, and the surrounding towns' car-buying community for more than 40 years.

Currently, we are seeking an Automotive Accounting - Title/Deal - Specialist for our Wallingford central accounting office. This team member will be responsible for tracking and sending bank contracts to lenders, processing trade payoffs, recording accounting transactions, completing and transmitting DMV paperwork and other functions related to the accounting office.

 Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Automotive Accounting - Title/Deal Specialist position include but are not limited to:

  • Process car deals in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Process dealer trades, wholesales and lien payoffs
  • Process and transmit DMV paperwork
  • Verify costs, commissions and transactions for each sale
  • Comply with federal, state and company policies and procedures and regulations
  • Code documents according to company procedure
  • Classify, record and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers and computers
  • Perform all other job duties as requested by management

Job Requirements
Specific qualifications for the Automotive Accounting - Title/Deal Specialist position include:

·      2 years of dealership title clerk experience

·      Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel

·      CDK Drive experience preferred

·      Proficiency in communication and basic math

·      Detail oriented

Job Responsibilities

As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will be required to provide the best in customer service and sales assistance to our customers, and to consistently achieve sales goals. Specific duties for the Automotive Sales Representative include:

  • Conducting walk-arounds with customers and demonstrating automobile features
  • Accompanying customers on test drives
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with customers
  • Following-up with customers
  • Responding to customer email inquiries and using online resources to develop new business

Job Requirements

As an Automotive Sales Representative, you must have an engaging and high-energy personality and the ability to build rapport and develop trust with customers. You must also have a strong work ethic, work well as part of a team and take pride in the work you do. Specific qualifications for the Automotive Sales Representative position include:

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior automotive experience is not required
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
